[Image taken 23.11.21] Elmfield Avenue, junction with Malton Road, York. The damaged speed cushions have not been removed in line with LTN 1/20 guidance (www.gov.uk/government/publications/cycle-infrastructure-design-ltn-120) but repaired and repainted. Speed cushions do not reduce driving speeds. (A DPD van driver approached on orange and turned right/crossed on red as I was taking these images.) But they do make a road less easy to navigate for people on cycles, and make cycles with more than two wheels unstable. These cushions should have been removed. Other images this junction today: #176080 and links
